i havent written one these before and felt it was time that id! i just miss you Robert everyday! i no i always will
me girls r gettin so grown up Robert that will be Jenna doing her real exams this year!! i no u would be so proud of her! iv got so much to tell you, miss our wee gabs and your banter more than i thought possible! i dont no if i beleive in heaven or not! nothing has convinced me!! but i hope there is and you can see us and watch over us and arent missing out on watching the wains growing up! i worry that Ellie wont remember you! but i dont think i need to as u no Ellie! Ellie the elephant right enough! the wains talk about you all the time and Jenna has got so many lovely memories of times with u that i no she is proud to have and will cherish them forever! as for me i am so glad for all the lovely memories i have and will cherish all my thoughts and memories of my times with you forever i am so proud of you and proud to be your sister! shine on!!

Wish you where still around xxx

I knew Robert only through my best childhood friend Lorraine and Alison, his lovey young sisters. His mum did not deserve to loose Robert so young, she is a proud, kind and loving woman who i will allways have much respect for. Robert and i in adult years shared simalar problems and i wish i had known him as an aduld instead of a wee lassie. Hope you are at peace Robert lots of love and best wishes Carol McPhun xxxxxx

A Star

I first had the pleasure of meeting Robert when Maggie introduced me to Robert at Artworks some years ago.

I looked forward to bumping into Robert as he was always interesting, intelligent, articulate and fun to be with. He could take the mickey out of himself too.

He was honest and passionate. I was so lucky to see him paint on a few occasions and we chatted as he went along. It seemed the most natural thing for Robert. He usually wore his shirt saying 'Artist ' on it which always made us laugh.

I have two of his paintings. Enigma picture 76 and Freedom picture 73. Robert told me what they meant to him when he painted them which makes them even more special.

The pictures have and continue to give myself and others great pleasure. I think of him whenever I see them.

I am honoured to have met him. He was a rather remarkable man. I miss him too.
